Dr Brendan Maunders

Brendan graduated from his Chiropractic studies at RMIT University in Melbourne in 2007 before starting work in Perth.  Since then he has worked all over the state and in many other parts of Australia in a variety of clinical roles, but is very happy to call Perth his home.

Brendan is passionate about helping his patients manage a variety of injuries and long-standing complaints. Whether you're a tradie with a disc injury, a pregnant woman with lower back and pelvic pain, a child with chronic headaches or migraines or a pensioner with shoulder pain, Brendan has the knowledge, skills and patience to get to the root cause of your problem and offer relief. Brendan's treatment focuses on pain relief by strengthening and stabilising the spine and pelvis so that his patients get stronger and feel better as they get older helping them to discover a "better kind of normal".

 

Brendan understands that every patient and every body is different and so we all may require different treatment styles and approaches to get the desired result. He has experience with combining a range of different manual and low force chiropractic techniques and principles. These include: including manual adjustments, Activator Methods,  drop-piece and SOT, to ensure each patient gets the best results in the quickest time and with the least amount of discomfort as possible.

 

He also has postgraduate training in dry needling to help treat sports injuries and chronic muscle pain conditions and extra training in paediatric chiropractic care for unsettled babies so that (( development)) mums and dads can get a better night's sleep.
 

Brendan is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as well as all private health funds and government agencies so that he can provide care for patients under Veteran's Affairs, Medicare Plans and Motor Vehicle and Worker’s Compensation claims. As a member of the Australian Chiropractor's Association (ACA) Brendan regularly attends seminars and conferences to keep up to date on the latest scientific primary health care information.
